This gorgeous piece of Giant Sequoia was left over from cutting out bowl blanks and just needed to be used. Although the piece is large, it is very light weight and has a very striking contrast between the heartwood and the sapwood. The quartz clock movement measures 65mm, has a gold coloured bezel, white clock face with black roman numerals, black hour and minute hands, red second hand, and is powered by a single AAA battery.
